Do you need some help?
All the questions you have about Lizzy Frizzy Bakery can be answered here.
- What does the class include?
- The class fee covers all materials needed for the course. Additionally, depending on the location, complimentary snacks and beverages may also be provided during the session.
- Do I need to have experience to take this class?
- For the beginner's workshop, no prior experience is required. All individuals, regardless of experience level, are welcome to participate.
- What’s the difference between beginner and intermediate classes?
- Preferably if you take the intermediate class, you should have already taken the beginner one or know how to bake and make royal icing, since this is only a decorating class.
- Can I bring my kid to class?
- Classes are designed only for adults, starting from 15 years and up, if you are interested in a kids class please feel free to contact me.
- How many cookies are we decorating?
- 3 different designs, from 4 to 6 cookies, depending on the location and price.
- Do you teach outside Vancouver?
- We can always arrange something.
Workshops
- Do you have gluten-free/vegan options?
- Not at the moment.
- Do you make cupcakes?
- Yes, I do.
- What flavor are the cookies?
- Usually, they are sugar cookies, unless you require gingerbread or birthday cake flavor.
- Do you have wedding catering?
- Not for the moment, but hopefully soon.
- Do you make wet cakes?
- All of our cakes are made freshly and moistened with our delicious syrup.
- How long will the product last?
- For cakes and cupcakes no more than 3 days, for cookies they’ll last up to 1 month (packaged), after that, they won’t go bad but they will not taste as fresh.
Products
- What’s the minimum order for cupcakes or cookies?
- The minimum order is 12 pieces with a limited selection of designs.
- How do I schedule my order?
- You’ll need to send a payment of at least 50% of the total payment. The rest can be covered on the pick-up date.
- How much is shipping?
- The shipping cost will vary depending on your location and will be added on top of the order total.
- How much time in advance do I need to order?
- Minimum 2-3 weeks in advance, depending on the season.
- Do you ship outside of Vancouver?
- I can only ship cookies for the extra cost of post office service.
- What are your payment options?
- If you are local: e-transfer, cash, tap, or check. If you are from outside Canada, please ask about our options from the Contact page.
Ordering and shipping
- Does a cake contain dairy?
- Yes, our cakes contain milk, butter, and cream.
- Do your products contain nuts?
- While the majority of our products do not contain nuts (unless requested), please be aware that there might be a risk of cross-contamination.
- Do all your products contain eggs?
- Yes, they do.
Allergy information
- Where should I transport my cake?
- If you are in the car, preferably on the floor of the co-pilot seat, since it is more flat and safe.
- Where should I keep the cake before cutting it?
- Inside the fridge, if it’s too hot, don’t let the sun's rays hit your cake. If the weather is cold you can keep it at room temperature.
- How do I cut my cake?
- With a sharp bread knife, no cake spatulas PLEASE!
- Where should I keep my cookies?
- Store your cookies in a cool, dry area away from direct heat. (cookies don’t go in the fridge).
